Position Title: Head Coach, Archery
Position Summary: Shooting Sports Education Center. This position is part of the Georgia Southern University, Shooting Sports Education Center Team and reports to the Assistant Director. This position will serve as the leader in Archery instruction and archer development. This position will engage with archers of all skill levels from beginner to elite through archery classes, camps, special events, outreach programs, clubs and competitions. In addition, this position will maintain the day to day operations of the range and associated equipment, including the training and development of part time archery instructors. Georgia Southern University is a Tobacco Free Campus.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree; two or more years of related work experience; effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree, Level 3 USA Archery Instructor Certification or equivalent; experience as a JOAD, 4-H, or club level archery coach; experience in supervising and developing part time staff; experience in Archery Tournament/Competition operations
Salary Range: Minimum $28,901 – Midpoint $36,132
